Stories that we do not immediately experience up close are told by nine women who have just become mothers. They talk about their experience before, during and after childbirth. And sing their personal lullaby.

The installation was carried out in the public space of Werkgebouw Het Veem in Amsterdam.

The cassette recorders with speakers were placed on soft cushions from which the stories blended in with the bare, industrial environment.
