Inspired by the creation story I made a photographic artwork in 7 parts. An organic series that for me at the time, answered the question, where do we come from? And at the same time showed that everything is connected. In a movement with the all-seeing eye at the end, as a nod to the Bible text, which should make us people realize that there is no higher power but that it is in all of us! "And God saw that it was good"

The story Genesis was reportedly written twenty-six centuries ago, when the Israelites were in captivity at Babylon's streams. The stories are not accounts of events. "These are hidden messages. Wisdom in narrative form that encouraged one another in troubled times in ancient Israel, elements for the life that fathers and mothers gave to their children. What the Bible calls God, writes Carel ter Linden  "is in his eyes a sacred field of influence of eternal principles: Love, faithfulness and justice, liberation from injustice and oppression, forgiveness and reconciliation."
